this is a great change. THe dual screens rarely worked well on the 3DS imo, just distracting constantly looking back and forth. Might come as a shocker but a lot of us gamers enjoy having a start screen to navigate to occasionally rather than splitting up the screens and ending up with a smaller gaming screen
