Personally, I think that's what the dock is for. Rumors I read were stating the minimum res Nintendo allows is 540p, though I'm guessing that 720p is going to be the norm. In the gaming world where 1080p is the norm, and people are going to be upgrading to the Pro for 4K, outputting in only 720p is not going to be acceptable, which is where I think the dock comes in. Whether it has its own chipset or it simple allows the NS to be upclocked, I'm guessing any extra power is just going to be used to output at a higher res.
Also, WTF is wrong with you Nintendo? You announce your console for launch in 5 months, yet are going to wait til just 2 1/2 months before launch to announce any actual info about it? Not saying they have to give a rundown of the specs, though that would be nice in a market where the 4.2 TFLOPS Pro will already be out, but you won't even give the price, battery life, or say what all the functions of the dock are? OR EVEN IF THE DAMN SCREEN IS TOUCH ENABLED? For their sake I hope it is, otherwise they can kiss that casual crowd goodbye, especially if it's not going to be getting mobile game ports. But why act like this is some big thing to keep secret?
