I don't expect the Switch to have to play BC games but I also don't expect the ps4 either given how different the ps3 architecture was. 

 

Playstation was known to play blu ray and the Pro still is.  UHD is super niche and will never take off. The point is it's funny people try using one thing to shit on one company but completely ignore it for others. 

Well, perhaps some people used UHD to give the Pro a hard time, but there were people genuinely upset about the lack of it on the Pro.
