Yes. Would be stupid if it didn't. The last device with a screen I held in my hands that didn't have a touchscreen was the GameBoy Advance. Touchscreen is needed for Virtual Console, digital BC of WiiU if it's there and compatibility with their mobile games. It's also way more convenient to navigate the UI with a touchscreen.
