It does little good to attribute value to a system which measures your worth by your quantity of posts. Far more interesting (and difficult to implement) would be a system wherein a user's rank is measured by the quality of their posts. Specifically, how often they posted insightful, informative, or otherwise useful information. Naturally, implementing a system like that would not be easy to do, but it at least would encourage people to care more about the content of their posts than the number of posts they've made...
