Honestly, I'd just keep the NS as the 'hybrid' portion of the 'Switch' platform then later make a cheaper handheld model and a stronger traditional console model by the end of 2017 -- like what if the meaning of 'Switch' was really the idea of switching your games between different platforms on the fly. If the rumors of easier porting and programming are true then it shouldn't be an issue to have a relatively unified library with three different devices.
That's just my fantasy though. In reality, Nintendo will probably put all their eggs in the hybrid NS basket and I'll be left disappointed.
