The emblem is a Pong-esque version of the Yin Yang symbol! A quick synopsis from Wikipedia to start things off:

In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (also yin-yang or yin yang, 陰陽 yīnyáng "dark—bright") describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, fire and water, expanding and contracting) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality symbolized by yin and yang

This strikes me as excellent marketing. They have an awesomely positive imbued association with a peaceful and loving tradition of peace and mindfulness. Very zen, much like the Wii, only this time more straightforward and subtle at the same time. The controller concept represents this duality by being a two-player system right off the bat, and one in which, depending on how you hold the controller, both players can have different controller schemes.

There's also it's resemblence to Pong, but in general I'm wondering what you guys think about this Yin Yang concept. I think it was probably concieved of early on in development and then they used the philosophy to guide their thinking, loosely, when confronting obstancles along the way in terms of functionality, aesthetic, and overall use. I also made made my own video on this.

So, what do you guys think about this?! Did anyone else notice?
