You can use them like that when you are playing on TV too, on any position you like.

It's like a mini remote, the wiimote and nunchuck, but I would prefer holding it in both hands because it would be more natural to me :p

I get tired of that position often, but maybe is just me, I though several times on how confortable would be a wii like gamepad if it didn't had that cable in the middle and this kind of like that.
