It was good. However, I hated the idea of announcing it like that. They said yesterday that they would release a trailer and that's it, just a YouTube video.
I remember the PS4 announcement: they created a conference to announce "something" (we all knew what it was). And then they showed games, content, functionalities for 2 hours. With live streaming, live blogging, even theaters. They made it look like a big deal. Even PS4 Pro and Slim got a conference to brag about. If you want people to think your product is big, you need fanfare, you need to make it a big deal. Can you imagine iPhone 8 being launched as a 2 minute YouTube video?
To me, Nintendo made it look small. Made it look like it isn't important, and afterthought. Switch looks great, the announcement was "meh" at best.
