I say that the dock will not provide any significant boost to the performance. At best, the tablet will gain performance because it can draw more power from the wall socket which will provide a slight boost in performance but not enough to be care worthy.

So imo, I will say that the dock will not be used to enhance performance to a care worthy degree to call it a "hybrid". Maybe a couple of fps here and there. Because if it did increase the performance to a significant degree, than Nintendo would have 110% advertised it on the preview trailer but they said nothing about it.

Not necessarily. This teaser was more preocupied and laser focused to show the real selling point, which is the portability, than anything else.I think its just too soon to say.

Ummm... I am pretty sure its main selling point that they were trying to show is that it can both be used on a tv and be portable... Not just its portable... And if it was a feature, I don't get why they wouldnt say "when you but it on the docking station, it you will have higher graphics or if you take it off, you can take it anywhere."

They were switching between it being on the dock and used on a TV + being able to be played else where multiple times.
