There is no gimmick on the console, being able to turn into handheld is not a gimmick, it makes a pretty big difference

I just wanted a regular console without that awful d-pad, detachable controllers, and docking stations. Sorry if that pisses you off. Just my opinion.

The console has a normal gamepad too, and when is on the dock is just a homeconsole.
