From the video it doesn't seem to me that the dock increases the power of the device, it's an exceptionally strong handheld but I don't think the dock contains any hardware itself.

How in the name of whatever you believe in can you figure that out. The docking station is an anomaly judging from the vid. I was just looking at it more positively
