Fifa is very successful in UK and Europe in general. But UK is interested in lots popular western titles, unlike Japan.

There is nothing MS can do to get an edge in Japan while Nintendo and Sony have all the 3rd party support. Atleast nothing financially worthwhile. Investing in Japan would be a complete waste for MS when they could instead spend more in the larger western market.

Oh, I think youre speculating on game budgets with no facts. I've played both games, they dont look or feel like 80 million dollar games.

How did you played Fable if Microsoft cancelled it ?  The 80+ millions for Fable is from a article on the Internet.

Quantum Break's budget might be over80 Millions. They had 3 + years of development and it was marketed as Microsoft's biggest new IP this generation.

I had access to the beta of Fable Legends around the time it shut down. The sources are rumors, nothing confirmed. I can confirm it was underwhelming.

Again, youre speculating on QB's budget. Is 3 years of development that bad? Its actually good for Remedy. Also, based on the sales of Alan Wake why would MS give them 80 million?

Is your best argument for MS supporting Japan failed western games? Cherry picking failures isnt a good reason for MS to invest in JRPGs. Japan is moving away from home consoles anyway. Thats an huge reason for MS to ignore Japan.

If anything, MS should encourage more ports of Japanese titles on their platform for western Xbox users that want those games. But trying to gain ground in Japan is a boondoggle. Sony and Nintendo own console gaming in Japan.
