Awesome that you found a job you love! I'm 34 and still working on that. haha

I'm a nurse, so there's a lot of stress in my job, unfortunately. Patients seeking pain medication, manipulating you, threatening you, thinking you're their personal handmaiden, code blues, rapid responses, dealing with vomit/blood/piss/shit, etc etc ETC.

BUT....I only work three 12 hour shifts a week, so every couple of weeks, I can schedule a 6 or 7 or 8 day break without taking any vacation time. Plus, I absolutely love my teammates and we crack each other up all night at work (I work night shift).

So aside from how stressful the job can be sometimes, it's worth it that I can choose my schedule and have long breaks from the job, in addition to loving my coworkers. Those things are priceless. It's about as close as I can get to loving my job. I had many before this (mostly 8 to 5 grind type of jobs) and I never lasted longer than a year in any of them.

But I'm still holding out for that one job where everything clicks and I'm passionate about it. I think it's very rare, though. I mean, they don't call it "work" for nothing, right?

Congrats again on the awesome job and I hope you remain happy and successful there!

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P
