Yes, and you failed to point out why it has a stronger usage, which is the fact that it is the highest profile game released on EA Access and its free to play before launch, and you then went on to say because of that it is "hard to believe it's not moving consoles." EA Access is not available on the PS4, therefore the only people who are playing it on PS4 are the people who bought the more expensive early enlister edition, while the Xbox One version has many people playing it for free who already own the console along with the early enlister edition and it's still below the PS4 version. Hardline, which sold a fraction of what Battlefield 1 will sell, came out in early 2015, when EA Access obviously had much less people subscribed to it. Doesn't seem stronger to me, just seems like it has better circumstances currently to make it appear that way to you. |
Actually for BF1 with EA/Origin you can only get 10 hours free and since it was available since the 13th most people probably used the 10 hours.
