I find the world of Read Dead Redemption more interesting, personal opnion, than GTA's world. 

I'm happy that Rockstar didn't gave up on Read Dead Redemption. The first game sold less than 2 millions  in a time when every single GTA game sold 10-15+ millions. Other companies would not bother to make another game.
