Obviously her eminently reasonable claims can't have been proven one way or the other, barring a reveal of the device.
Thus the absurdity of the poster I was quoting using that claim as rationale to doubt her leaks.

That's some silly logic you're employing mate, Mario Maker is a creation kit where you share your creation with others it's not just a 2d platformer like you're trying to claim, it focuses on people creating and sharing and not solely on platforming so yes it's a new IP.

No, actually sill logic is saying that Super Mario Maker (pay close attention on title of game) is new IP only because you can make and share levels. Its 2D Mario platformer spinoff not new IP, Splatoon is good example of new IP.
