The big Japanese price cut in effect. It's been a long time since it outsold the ps3, probably first time since launch. Although mediacreate still has ps3 ahead.

A baseline around 30k is excellent and the price cut and slim has had a good effect.
GTA V is a beast and will sell a lot more over the coming years in Japan.
Regarding psvr, the launch shipment is sold out so demand was higher than 51k. Could be a few weeks before proper supply is sustained so legs will be non existent for a while.
