We all know Bill isn't running, but his inevitable association affects everyone's hidden conciousness in ways that are hard to imagine, and also in ways that are pretty easy to imagine - for instance, for some women it shows lack of moral character and decision making in choosing to stay with a man so flawed when it comes to treatment of women and respect for the political-sanctity of marriage.
