First impressions of Tumble VR.

Still a neat puzzle game, I completed the first 4 zones in one sitting. It's got some nice polish in the graphics department, gameplay is pretty much the same. You sit on one side manipulating blocks in front of you, no need to walk around to build big although you can. It's nice to have the big tower in front of you which makes it easier to judge angles and spaces etc. However you can still move the controller through blocks which is a bit immersion breaking, picking blocks back up makes them snap back into original orientation which will disrupt nearby blocks, and the biggest let down is you don't get to knock down your tower at the end, doh!

Unfortunately Tumble is limited by how well tracking works. Right in front your eyes any unwanted movement is clearly visible and for some reason the headset tracking was spazzing out in the first view levels. Slight turn off my head made the whole level violently move forward and backward. No clue what was going wrong. I tried different positions to sit in, reset the viewpoint numerous times, then after a few levels it went away and tracking was near perfect again. Very odd.

Overall Tumble VR is a good conversion into VR but doesn't do anything new with the format.
