Communication in pokemon has gone to shit. He can't be serious. Internet is the future. An MMO with voice chat would easily outdo what the first games established because today, we are all connected online. Not by link cables or street pass.
But to his credit, in Japan, handhelds probably offer more communication opportunities because of the larger handheld market. He doesn't understand...a Pokemon MMO would set the world on fire. Not just the 15 Million people who keep buying it, we could see numbers mimicking rgb. But, if they have research and development going behind their reasonings, I can't complain.
