Yeah, it can't be hard to give new forms to pokemon from all the games, so I dunno what Game Freak is thinking when they were picking pokemon to give new forms to.

That was the main one I was referring to, although the Geodude line looks pretty rubbish as well.

I expect when they were picking new forms they were basing it on the success of Pokemon Go (a game that only had gen 1 Pokemon) and trying to win over as many of those people as possible based on nostalgia.

Oh, that's a reasonable and disappointing point if true. It def makes sense and gets the most out of Pokemon Go currently. I'm holding doubles of pokemon ready to transfer over too.

Kinda disappointing overall. Also, is there any pics of the alolan geodude line? I wanna see them...!
