The PSVR, though expensive, feels like something Nintendo should have released. And, if Nintendo were releasing new hardware I honestly don't know what they could do to capture my heart right now. They've been my favorite company since 1988 but this past year has kinda killed them for me. At this point, the NX doesn't ever have to release.

So Nintendo capture your heart with hardware not with their games!? I love Nintendo because of their games on 1st place, not because their hardware, just look this new Zelda and imagine new NX games.

Nintendo constantly brought sense of magic and wonder with their new hardware and games that took advantage of that hardware.

F-Zero and Pilot wings brought fancy new scaling and rotation effects that boggled my young mind.

Super Mario 64 felt like a whole new world.

Wii Sports brought a be new level of gameplay innovation and immersion.

I even loved the WiiU and the second screen. Many great memories of Nintendo Land and Batman Arkham City: AE.

I just don't know what new thing they'll bring to the table. To be honest, I've been jaded with gaming this entire generation. PSVR gave me that "Nintendo feeling" that even Nintendo hasn't been bringing. If they can bring back the freshness, I'm all in.... But I can't imagine what they'll offer. If it's just a home console portable, I'm not in.

I don't play or want to play portable console games on the go anymore. That time has passed. I have a Vita, WiiU, 3DS, and various other options if I can't use the TVs. Aside from "more power", I need something to get excited about.

*edit* notice I didn't mention Gamecube. Loved that console but it was missing the magic.
