Nope what the are two views on what NX is one is that it's a hybrid and the other is that it's a home console with a controller that's slightly more stand alone than the gamepad.

Handhelds can already connect to home consoles btw they've been able to do it since the GBA and GC, PSP and PS3 did it as did Vita and PS4 and even 3DS and Wii U have done it for Smash 4.

If i have to program my game to be able to run seperately on each platform i would have to work miracles to get it to work proplerly.
