At the end of the Sun/Moon demo, you're given the option to take pictures of Alolan Dugtrio. This has been confirmed legit by the hundreds of thousands of people who've played the demo.
I am sure this will become a meme in the Pokemon community. Pretty sure Gamefreak was trying to make a joke out of the Beach Boys or something. Something weird though- the sand is now hard lava. Very interesting.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.
