I watched the entire video and I never felt like he was being mean.

He explains why he didnt think he was a great business leader, and why hes not happy with the approach nintendo is takeing with paywall Super Mario Run.

Obviously he didn't mean to be disrespectful to Mr. Iwata when he said "late but not so great", he just meant strictly from a business point of view, but if Patcher would have gotten a second chance I think he would choose his words more carefully just to avoid any misunderstandings.

People read too much into his words just to find errors and put blame.
