I had been playing Smash for quite some time (I stopped when overwatch came out) but I never had such a bad experience with lag that you are suggesting that frequently. SSB4 is Peer to Peer so the one with the slowest connection is the one that is causing the lag.... Can you do a speedtest and post it here so that we know its not you that is causing the lag?

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't know of any fighting game that can mask the lag. With games like FPS and etc, frames aren't as important as fighting games so they can mask the lag but with fighting games? I don't get how it would be possible... Even with Mortal Kombat on PC, I have had some pretty laggy matches cause it has to be as fast as the lowest connection.

Heck, I don't even think there is a single fighting game that has dedicated servers. KI for example, only has dedicated servers to pair the match making while the actual match itself is p2p

KI's netcode IS the best out there for fighting games. That's a fact.

You get paired up with players across the globe with no noticeable lag.
