This makes perfect sense to me. Gamestop had 229 bundles and Pro is right around the corner. A gamestop employee told me that most of the S model sales were subsidized through trade in. What is the point of trading in your PS4 in September with a 399 or 499 VR unit coming in October that works on your current system and Pro releasing in November. That doesn't sound financially responsible to most folks especially with VR in the picture now. I will get the pro in November.

Also as a side note RIGS had a 71% sellout rate at Gamestop on launch with the PSVR eclipsing that. I'm convinced that the Slim and Xbox One were neck and neck. October should still go to PS4 and obviously in November Pro will destroy the competition. Also, PSVR will be the number one piece of hardware sold in October obviously.
