I'll tell you this much. my first impression is that the Canadian price is insane. $699 for the bundle at Best Buy. I mean, everything is bad up here now, but seeing this is kind of a turn off. I'll be dropping I'm guessing $550 for the Pro, so PSVR is a no go for now. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/playstation-4-playstation-vr-launch-bundle-3001559/10417949.aspx

That is crazy. That's $40 more than the exchange rate. It is crazy how bad things have gotten in Canada in just the last three years, I mean at PS4 launch it was basically dollar for dollar the same.

Honestly, now that I have VR, and have already expeirnced 4K on freinds PCs, I would get PS4 over the Pro if I had to choose. If you already have a PS4, the Pro is not going to give you any better experiences, just prettier ones. The PSVR on the other hand, is going to give you access to hundreds of titles that will not be available over the next year on Pro alone, and it will greatly enhance your expeirence in VR/Retro hybrid titles like Resident Evil and Gran Turismo Sport.

I do have a PS4 actually, but I still want a Pro. It's worth it to me for the bump in performance/graphics. My backlog is quite large as well. Many of the games getting pro patches are still wrapped in cellophane or siiting on my hard drive, so I will get to experience them for the first time on the Pro. Plus, as pointed out in subsequent posts, the Pro is actually a bit of a deal in Canada at $499. I get what your saying, the Pro just appeals to me more atm.
