While so far I can only count metroid prime, bioshock and doom to the first person games I like, its not enough for me to stop disliking that type of mode.

As I mentioned earlier, I too am not an fps fan.  But if this is what it takes to support the hardware in worst case scenario, it makes it less of a risk for other genres.  I'm all for survival horror and VR.  It there's any reason I'll invest in VR is a healthy does of quality survival horror titles.

Then lets hope resident evil 7 kicks things off in a good direction.
