Not the best setups, but they took two minutes to come up with. A workable control scheme is far from impossible.
And just so this isn't completely off topic: If 3rd parties don't support the Wii, then they won't make as much money. That's about it really. The HD market is big enough to keep them from going under, but supporting all consoles would be the smartest move.
