It was fun back when sales threads were up every week.

The problem with the sales, at least on the hardware side, is that it's really boring this generation. Sony has first place on lock, Microsoft will stay second and Nintendo can't be anything but third.

Last gen provided a much more interesting race: Xbox 360 with its one year lead, the Wii speeding past it while the PS3 struggled, then the PS3 made a comeback passing the 360 and then speculation begun around the possibility of PS3 passing the Wii. This meant that every stage of last gen was exciting to talk about.

Yeah, the race was exciting between PS3 and 360, and Nintendo was relevant then in their own way, right now, it's practically between 2 companies with 1 dominating it. Hopefully the mid gen cycles and NX make things interesting.

I signed up after the holiday sales of the Kinect. (was following the forum for years before signing up though)

January was always busy lol, with the adjustments.
