You have always people who live on Twitter telling whats going on those meetings, also Nintendo always week after those meetings release fully translated FY and Q&A from Investor Meeting. From those meetings we fist time heard about unifed plans for new Nintendo platform, about Amiibos, Mobile games...when NX will be relased..
