I can agree with the bolded part.  I just feel Sony doesn't have the pressure to push their games during the holidays due to good ps4 sales.  I think they are happy with the install base they have that they don't mind losing a little bit a marketshare to MS.  Sony already have a solid install base to sell the games to.  Most of the profit comes from software anyway.

How many copies do you think Uncharted 4 would of sold if it release Winter 2015 instead of May 2016. That's money that would of went to Sony studios. It probably would help boost holidays sales of PS4 hardware even higher if there was a major First party release in 2014, 2015 & eventual 2016 holiday sales.

Well to be honest, I don't think it would have sold that much more.  Uncharted 4 is basically selling similar to the previous uncharted games plus I guess another reason to sell it on May instead of holidays is to bundle the hell out of it on the following christmas as Sony is doing now since I guess it is cheaper.  There are franchise that it doesn't matter what you do, it won't grow beyond the franchise average.  Let be honest here, ps4 has sold/ it is selling more than what Sony thought or expected compare to its competitors so I don't think they are concern for that "extra ps4 sales" that they didn't manage to sell.  there is a reason they have kept pushing their games after holidays for 3 straight years.
