The simple fact is that in our current system one of them is getting elected. One is too much of an egomaniac to quit and the other has spent too much of her lifetime angling for the office to quit. (Not ruling out ego there either, but it's less.)
Consequently, you have to either pick a side by choosing the lesser evil, or declare that they are equally evil, or abdicate your civic duty.
And I would disagree if you chose Trump as the lesser evil.
