It's real. It's just not going to be worth 1/4 of the "build up" for it.
Nintendo hardware simply isn't that great. Hasn't been for a long time. NX sounds like another gimmicky device.
What's more important is that it'll have great Nintendo games on it, and that's all that matters in the end, but the hardware itself will probably kinda ... be underwhelming. Hardware just isn't Nintendo's strength and hasn't been for like 15+ years.
It's not going to be worth the build up most likely, but at the end of the day Nintendo will show Super Mario NX and that'll be enough to make Nintendo fans (at least) happy.
