Given that the game is built to run at 60fps on consoles, I doubt they'd half the framerate just to accomodate a higher resolution. The 2K-reconstructed-to-4K seen in the likes of Mass Effect/COD/Horizon is possible, but those games are all 1080p on the standard PS4, so they require only a doubling of pixel output to do the 2x1080p checkerboard trick.

Being a 900p game on stock PS4, BF1 would have to increase its pixel count by more like 3-fold to hit 2x1080p, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Pro mode of BF1 runs at 1080p/60fps.

 Meh. Either way, still a good reason to get it on PS4, since I am buying a PS4 Pro.
