N64 was a mess, and only good for proof of concept.
Melee was wonderful, however it was butchered by the Pro community will bullshit like wavedashing.
Brawl got rid of wavedashing, but introduced tripping.
Sm4sh 3DS will never play right, because it's not a Gamecube controller.
Sm4sh Wii U got rid of wavedashing and tripping. It introduced Omega Levels. It gave us DLC characters made after release.
It's a no brainer. Sm4sh Wii U.
