I don't think religion or gaming are solely to blame for kids not being able to determine between fact and fiction. There are people who are uneducated and dumb from alltypes of backgrounds.
Secondly,even if you are into gaming or religion, your intellectual ability to separate fact from fiction may come from something else entirely.
When you watch people on Jersey Shore, Judge Judy, day time trash TV, reality TV, you soon discover that people with our without religion have issues separating fact from fiction.
If you think about it, everything surrounding the average kid teaches them about fiction:
1) trends in fashion
2) trends in music
3) trends in gang culture
4) trends in science
5) trends in politics
6) trends in film and TV
7) trends in technology
In a way, pretty much anything can be abused and put into this category it isn't exclusive to gaming and religion.
