Older PlayStation models generally stop being manufactured as soon as the replacement comes out (i.e. Vita 2000 replaced the 1000; PS4 slim replaced original model). Generally 3DS models run concurrently (i.e. you can still buy a new original 3DS).
PS4 Pro will be tracked separately.
