System is going to be revealed until January. My guess is 13-18. This holiday they have Super Mario Run for mobiles, Nes Mini for the nostalgic mainstream and Pokemon / Mario Maker for the 3DS userbase (alongside other minor titles).
They are covered and not in need to rush the reveal. As I have mentioned before, they are after Apple, mainstreams and discovering the internet. 2 and a half months are enough to hype if they have the right product
The only thing they can be afraid is, as Cobe mentioned, the product is not the right one because they know Iwata was wrong at the moment of planning.
If Nintendo was wise at the design, neither ps4 or xone must be a factor. Let alone pro or scorpio.
