I know that Steam and Apple can do this, but can Sony even track how many hours you have played a game? If they cannot do this, it would be hard to stop people from abusing the system.

I'm sure they can and even if they can't, Hello Games might have a way of tracking via an in game counter.

I'm just curious to see how this plays out as both the US and UK now have the ability to start class action lawsuits. If the ASA find Hello Games guilty, will Sony and Valve still deny refunds or will they offer them before people take things further.
