I am able to answer this via a Google search!
According to Wikia, the 360 supported 478 OG Xbox games. That emulation was crap compared to X1 BC. Many games had glitches, slowdown, and crashed. It was certainly better than no BC though and I used it complete a few games.
So 360's BC ended with support for more titles than X1 BC currently has. But X1 BC is just about a year old, by next year X1 BC could fly past 500.
