nope he never stated anythihng of the sort. People took his quote and twisted into that he confirmed a hybrid

Hmmm I don't particularly see it as a big stretch to gather he 'could' mean it is a hybrid. It certainly implies that Nintendo are attempting to either bridge the two or implement elements of the two concepts into one...
