You realise that ps4 had a terrible first 2 years in terms of software.  Very few Japanese games especially mid to big tier titles.  Almost all titles were also on vita or ps3 or on all 3.

You do realise that the Wii U compared to other markets did much better in Japan?  The ps4 outsold the Wii U after one week in the UK.  To do that in Japan would have taken a launch of 1.6m!!! Hopefully now you see why it's pointless bringing up that point.

The Wii U had 15 months extra on the market.

You know what's impressive?  tracking ahead of your 10m+ predecessor in a market that is dying. It's the only one of the 3 consoles that didn't decline a lot on it's predecessor. A solid achievement.

I do realise, but PS3 also had very slow start because very high price.

Of Course, but again you realise you comparing selling numbers of worst selling Nintendo console ever and one of the fastest selling console ever!? So saying that is impressive or some kind of good achievement beacuse one of the fastest selling console ever outsold Nintendo worst selling console ever after 2.5 years (you said that in UK PS4 outsold Wii U in just a week), doesnt make any sense.

Again, comparing sales numbers with console that had very slow start (PS3) isn't positive at all for PS4 that WW is selling around 3x better than PS3.

Fact: PS4 WW sales number are currently around 45m, PS4 Japan sales numbers are only around 3m. Fact is that those are very bad sales numbers for Japan compared to WW sales.

You do realise that's not the context I say it's an achievement.  If ps4 was to only sell 4m and beat the Wii U by a little I'd agree,  not an achievement.  But it's going to end up selling double at least.  In the end ps4 will sell way more than Wii U.  It will beat other consoles like Saturn,  Gamecube,  N64 etc and will end up with a respectable 8-11m sold.

And again comparing to ps3 is fine because they both had slow starts for different reasons but they're both picking up to impressive weekly numbers around the same time on their comparison graph.
