Ok then what if the XBone can still play cut down versions of scorpio games kinda like how low end PC's can still play the same games higher end systems can. But what if MS calls it the XB2 and says its not an upgraded XB1 but a whole new Xbox. Will it then be classed as gen 9?.

MS might of been planning on an upgraded XB1 at first. But when they seen sony was doing the same thing they might of changed plans.

Well then its still an 8th gen console. Of course it would be a new thing, but if the console doesnt have a unique library, then its not a new console. Its an upgrade of the current.
