eh...EA is still around and doing great, so Im not sure most gamers really hold a grudge for very long. Its like "Fuck EA for selling us a broken product like Battlefield 4, its criminal and they should be sued......Ill just get Battlefield 1 and play that until the suing begins"...

You damn right about that and people should have held them to account for it.

I know I sound really bitter and I keep going on about it, but I genuinely don't fall for this shit. I've never ever bought a COD, Battlefield, FIFA, Watch Dogs, GTA etc on release as I know they are all overhyped. As a result of this I've never been burned and I have always got what I paid for.

For some stupid reason I bought into the underdog story that is Hello Games and Sean Murray. I don't buy digital since its more expensive, but this time I did. I believed in Sean Murray and what he said. I was willing to pay extra to support this guy and his studio and I got shafted good and hard.

I think the issue here is that there are now people out there like myself who don't usually fall for shit that have this time around. The BF and COD guys know what to expect every year and the company doesn't go the lengths that Murray did. Additionally, they release a full game and they are AAA games with AAA teams. This is a AAA cost with subpar indie production values, missing features and a whole lot of silence. This feels like the Kaiser Söze of all video game fuck ups. Lol

Its pretty bad and I understand your frustration, but just like movies or books, buying a video game is a risk. Sure its a more expensive risk, but thats where reviews and social media come in. People like Jim Sterling isnt telling us to stop pre-ordering for the fun of it.
