Yes. You can record all shows and view them upto 28 days after airing. The number of shows is unlimited, with no scheduling conflicts.
I currently have 84 TV Series in my DVR, and well over 1000 episodes.
Also, channels like Showtime and HBO offer their enitre back catalog all the time. So you can go back and watch entire seasons any time. This makes it possible to pay $15 one month a year and catch up on all of their content.
