I think his point is that Japanese PS4 sales may improve when more of the big games start to arrive in the next 12 months.
Final Fantasy XV - November 29, 2016 Yakuza 6 - December 8, 2016 Resident Evil 7 - January 26, 2017 Tekken 7 - Early 2017 Dragon Quest XI - 2017 Gran Turismo Sport - 2017 Hot Shots Golf - 2017 Kingdom Hearts 3 - 2017 Gundam Versus - 2017
So far none of the top 10 best selling franchises on PlayStation in Japan has seen a mainline iteration on PS4.
1. Final Fantasy 2. Dragon Quest 3. Gran Turismo 4. Resident Evil 5. Hot Shots Golf
6. Kingdom Hearts 7. Tekken 8. Crash Bandicoot 9. PaRappa The Rapper 10. Onimusha
11. Dance Dance Revolution 12. Pro Evolution Soccer 13. Arc the Lad 14. Parasite Eve 15. Dynasty Warriors
16. Metal Gear Solid 17. Grand Theft Auto 18. Gundam 19. Samurai Warriors 20. Xenogears
21. SaGa 22. Yakuza 23. Tales of 24. Ridge Racer 25. Dragon Ball

He called Japan PS4 sales impressive, there is nothing impressive about them at all regardless games, PS4 sales on West were great even without great and exclusive games. Only around Japan 3m from around WW 45m is bad, not impresive.

It's impressive that it's matching ps3 sales launch alligned. 2016 is tracking very well and it will end up coming close to ps3's best ever year of 1.8m.
Next year and onwards will be good too. The Wii U may be dead for a while but not for the last 15 months which is the headstart it had. It also had an extra holiday. Sales of ps4 are impressive and they will continue to be.
