Why do we insist that NX has to be another PS or XB, or else it'll fail?

Anyway, the reason people say it has to be a PS4 clone is simply because they:
A. Completely lack imagination.
B. Completely lack any knowledge on the industry (Wii and DS destroyed their competition last gen).
C. Secretly want a Playstation, but are too proud to admit it. In other words, they want Nintendo to make a Playstation Junior console.
